    KochiKame, an extremely popular manga representative of Japan, is actually set in the JR Kameari Station area. In addition to a bronze statue of the protagonist, Kankichi Ryotsu (Ryo-san), in front of the station, you can find statues of other characters all around town.

    Here you can really enjoy being in the world of KochiKame, a friendly residential and commercial neighborhood that is easily accessible, just 20 minutes away from Ueno.

    2. Kaihimmakuhari Station Area (My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected)

    Characters from the manga My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected (also known as My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) hang out at Messe Amuse Mall, right in front of Kaihimmakuhari Station. A movie theater, pub, sushi bar, yakiniku restaurant, and other establishments can be found inside, so you can enjoy indoor entertainment the Japanese way. Some stores even offer discounts if you bring your movie ticket stub!

    Come hang out and have a good time just like the main characters of the manga.
