“Kawaii,” a word used even overseas, is characteristic of Japanese culture.
This time, I will introduce Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ), famous as a symbol of kawaii representing Harajuku, a spot popular with young people.
She was originally working as a model, but, with Nakata Yasutaka, the producer of Parfume, popular both here and overseas, she made her celebrated debut as a singer.
Her debut song charted even overseas, she did many live performances in foreign cities such as Los Angeles, and her 2014 tour had an audience of 35,000 people.
Debut single：PON PON PON
4th single：Fashion monster
6th single：Ninja Re Bang Bang
The number of people addicted to her pop-style PVs continue to multiply.
We just can’t tear our eyes away from her songs, her unique fashion sense, and the world she’s created.
