ONE OK ROCK is composed of four members namely Taka (vocals), Toru (lead guitar), Ryota (bass guitar) and Tomoya (drummer). They were formed in year 2005. The group is being managed by Amuse Inc. and does around 100 live concerts every year (withing Japan). They released their first ever single entitled “Naihi Shinsho” in 2007 under the label A-Sketch Inc. ONE OK ROCK first performed in live houses. With their growing popularity across Japan, ONE OK ROCK ultimately performed in Nippon Budoukan in 2010, in Yokohama Stadium in 2014 and in Yokohama Arena in 2013 and 2015.
As of the moment, the band already released nine singles, eight albums and six DVDs under A-Sketch Inc since their major debut.
Currently, Japan is having an “idol boom” so it’s surprising to see a Japanese rock act to be so popular. However, ONE OK ROCK proves us that they’re worthy of their popularity and ultimately success with their music capturing each and everyone’s heart. I’m a huge fan of their music! It’ll be their very first time to visit the Philippines and I’m really looking forward to their first ever live concert here, in my country! I’ll surely write a concert report after the live show so please keep checking for updates!
