  • Adorable. That is probably the most fitting word to describe these planes. Decorated with your favorite Role Playing Game (RPG) franchise: Pokémon, Pokémon Jet provides an unforgettable yet super comfortable domestic and international journey through the air. If you are a big fan of Pokémon and are traveling through Japan this year, put this one on your ‘to-do’ list.

Different Planes for Different Pokemon Characters

Pokémon Jet is operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s biggest airline. It is not the first painted plane operated by ANA either as they created a whale themed plane called “Marine Jumbo” as well as a Snoopy themed plane as well. Then the booming sensation and euphoria of Pokémon happened and they decided to create their first Pokémon Jet. The flight was released in 1998 and as people’s responses continue to improve, there are ten varieties of Boeing planes that have been painted and fly as Pokémon Jet.

    Adorable Outfits

From Pikachu to Mewtwo and Celebi to Reshiram, you will find plenty of your favorite Pokémon characters painted on the body of the plane. It appears ANA always make a wholehearted effort in trying to satisfy their customers. Not only the body of the plane is Pokémon-themed, but the interior and the stewardesses as well along with various Pokémania accessories, souvenirs, and novelties which are available for purchase in flight. Furthermore, during your flight, you will also get the opportunity to watch the special Pikachu short movie.

    Limited Tickets

The tickets are limited and Pokémon Jet only operates in a short period of time within a year. So it would be better if you keep paying attention to the flight schedule and their promotional advertisements. The schedule might come up with promotional hotel advertisements too just in case you want to complete your journey by staying for several nights in none other than a Pokémon-themed (of course) hotel room.
