During late March to early May, cherry blossoms are in peak bloom all throughout Japan. It is at this time of the year that many tourists come to the country to experience “hanami” or cherry blossom viewing. The Shiba Park Hotel is offering travelers the chance for an “Ohanami Walk” or Sakura Walk as part of their hotel stay.
Shiba Park Hotel is known to provide excellent service to Japanese and overseas guests. It has a friendly and well-trained staff who make sure every guest experiences the great value of Japanese traditions. The proximity of the hotel to major train and subway stations makes it a breeze navigating the city. Rooms are very spacious and facilities are complete with complimentary wi-fi to ensure everyone feels comfortable during the stay. Dishes come in several varieties at the hotel’s restaurants from Chinese served at the elegant Peking and Japanese at Hanasanshou. You can also get a drink at the hotel’s bar.
The walk will be done by the staff who will guide the guests to spots where cherry blossoms are in full bloom. This will be done within the vicinity of the hotel. Guests will also be led to places near the hotel to have an authentic cherry blossom viewing. Some of these places include the foreground of Tokyo Tower where the cherry blossoms are beautifully decorating the area. In addition to this, the guests will also be shown some popular activities such as enjoying the food stalls during the season. They will also be given the chance to have some tea and sweets under the trees.
This event will be done during weekdays from March 28-April 5, 2016. It will be conducted in English at no cost at all. All you have to do is attend the meet-up at the Shiba Park Hotel lobby at exactly 10:45 am. The Walk will start from Shiba Daijingu Shrine proceed to Shiba Park and then Zojoji Temple. Teatime will be done by the cherry trees.
This is a great event for the coming spring in Japan. If you’re planning an upcoming family vacation, Shiba Park Hotel should be on top of your hotel list.
