Chef Narisawa started his journey when he traveled to France, Switzerland, and Italy at the age of 19 for training before he returned to Japan . In 2003, he opened “Les Créations de Narisawa” which was modified later to “Narisawa” an innovative sustainable two-Michelin star restaurant.
The restaurant menu theme is “omakase” or “leave it to the chef” which means there is no menu to choose from! All you have to do is to inform the restaurant of your preference(s), allergies (if any), and your health condition to take into consideration while preparing your meal, and the chef will choose fresh ingredients from the season to prepare a stand-out dish to meet your taste buds.
It is worth mentioning that NARISAWA has constantly ranked in the top #30 of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2009, was ranked #8 in TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards 2015, and was awarded The World’s No.1 Restaurant in the Sustainable Restaurant Award 2013.
