The Matcha Mania Afternoon Tea by Hyatt Regency Osaka is a special limited weekend event running for almost two months that will take place from June 4th to July 31st. Guests who attend the event are able to experience a wide variety of matcha sweets and also the first tea of the season.
Some of the sweets that guests are able to expect that use an extravagant amount of matcha include cheesecakes, roll cakes and even warabi mochi. There are many more Japanese and Western items lined up for you to enjoy. For example, if you’re a fan of chocolate fountains, then you might enjoy a different version using matcha chocolate instead!
Aside from the sweets, guests can also choose the tea to accompany their food from the 7 selections which include Uji tea’s genmaicha, iribancha, sencha, gyokuro, hojicha, kariganecha and mizudashi sencha.
The Matcha Mania Afternoon Tea event will be operating on weekends and also on holidays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 in the afternoon. Price for adults are 2,900 yen and 1,450 yen for kids 6 to 12 years old, excluding tax and service charge. During the event’s duration, if you come in wearing the lucky color green will get you 10% off as well!
