“Escape to Big Island – Real Aloha Experience” is the title of the promotional menu that Tokyo Marriott Hotel has recently launched this summer. This will give guests an edible escape to experience Hawaiian dining in the heart of the country. Hawaii, as a popular tourist destination in Japan, has played an important role in generating interest among the local people especially when it comes to great food. The promotional menu has actually started running since July 1 and will continue until the end of August.
Tokyo Marriott Hotel stands in the historical Gotenyama Hill which is under the global hotel brand Marriott Hotels which comprises several hotels around the world. It is known for offering more than just a simple stay but dynamic dining venues, polished services, and fingertip technologies. It is also located right next to a beautiful oasis, the Gotenyama Garden, and neighborhood temples and shrines. As a hotel which can be enjoyed in many great ways, it is just perfect for banquets, conferences, chit-chat with friends, or even after an afternoon stroll. In order for guests to beat the heat while they enjoy a summer-feel atmosphere, Tokyo Marriott Hotel has recently introduced its promotional menu centered on Hawaiian cuisine.
The hotel partnered with Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and Hawaii Tourism Japan in order to provide guests an access to authentic Hawaiian dishes. The culinary mastermind, Jayson Kanekoa of the Waikoloa Beach Marriott, will make appearances at the hotel in order to prepare signature dishes that go beyond the basics. He is a native of the place who’ll make sure to introduce the island’s famous “Aloha Spirit” in the dishes. Apart from this, diners may also opt to join the chef on his way to Tsukiji Market to fish out some of the freshest ingredients.
For those wanting to have a more laidback atmosphere, you can try seasonal eats through Aloha Afternoon Tea (Wednesdays) where you can enjoy garlic coconut shrimps with Kona coffee. You may also have some cocktails served with a Hawaiian Delight dinner perfect for the outdoor setting.
Don’t waste the summer away without trying these delicious Hawaiian dishes at the Tokyo Marriott Hotel’s Lounge & Dining G from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. You might be able to catch a Polynesian dance during Fridays from July 15 to the end of August.
