“Pocky” is the chocolate biscuit sticks that are very popular in japan. It is a Japanese snack produced by Ezaki Glico and has been selling since 1966. The regular pocky is a biscuit stick (The biscuit sticks made of wheat flour with some ingredients) dipped in chocolate, but today pocky has many variations such as green tea, milk, strawberry, vanilla and blueberry cheesecake.
Pocky is not only sold in Japan though, it is also popular in other countries, such as China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and some south-east Asian countries. You can find it in any supermarket. See pocky products below!

For the world-known snacks, special events are not a rare thing. The producer of pocky organised “Pocky Day” on November 11th. On this day, Ezaki Glico establishes fun events and promotions, the event is called “Pocky and Pretz Day”, it annually takes place in Japan. The day has was officially registered as commemorative day.
