  • Season 2 of Japanese anime Attack on Titan debuted in spring 2017 and it was able to show several mind-blowing revelations to its fans in relation to the first season. However, it also left viewers with many unanswered questions. To prevent fans from waiting in agony, the producers have decided to release Season 3 of the anime just a year later in July 2018. Perhaps the big question now is what will Attack on Titan Season 3 be all about? Let’s find out!

    Attack on Titan Season 2

Attack on Titan, or Shingeki no Kyojin in Japanese, had its initial run in September 2013 and went on hiatus for three years before releasing its second season.

If you missed Attack on Titan Season 2, here’s a brief recap:

The storyline included only 12 episodes. Episode 1 was all about the Beast Titan and the shocking discovery that caused a stir. It was followed by the appearance of Titans within Wall Rose in Episode 2. Episode 3 was all about searching for a hole in the wall. Utgard Castle was overwhelmed by a Titan assault in Episode 4; it went crumbling down which led to Episode 5 where Ymir desperately battled the Titans. The soldiers were left with more questions than answers in Episode 6, then a new enemy was revealed in Episode 7. Erin and the scouts fought back using several techniques. This was followed by the scouts’ recuperation in Episode 8; they then rallied and charged in Episode 9. Episode 10 was all about Ymir’s confusion whether to stay true or lie to herself. In Episode 11, Erwin tried to topple the Armored Titan. The last episode, Episode 12, was all about Erin’s confrontation with a Smiling Titan. This has somehow left viewers hanging and wanting more.
