Hey! I am planning to write an article about some of the weird Japanese food known to man. It will be great if you can help me brainstorm ideas. What are some of the strangest Japanese food that you’ve tried (or wanna try)?

I know this is not that weird, but it is for me. Natto! And also horumon which I think are animal testicles???

for me, i would have to say the pufferfish sashimi. or even the creepy crawler sushis, ew.

Hi,
What to do after boiling the soybeans for 3,5 hours?
Ent with NATTO and than brew for 24 hours at 38 – 45 degrees celcius and after that put it in the fridge?( -18 Celcius)
When I do it this way, the soybeans are not sticky anymore.

I am no natto expert so I suggest that you just buy natto from the grocery stores. LOL

In Nagano they have ice cream with grasshoppers sticking out of it. It’s called “batta ice”.
