Originating from North London, LOLA’S Cupcakes is known for producing fresh and scrumptious cupcakes every day. Their cupcakes are made from selected ingredients such as French flour, Belgian chocolate, fresh fruits, and the like. There are usually 15 kinds of cupcakes prepared on a daily basis and they come in limited quantities. Each flavor comes in two sizes: tiny (400 yen) and regular (700 yen).
You can also order “image cupcakes” and have your choice of picture or logo printed on the cupcake, which can be great for parties! For birthdays and anniversaries, you can also put a message on the cupcakes if you like. Take note, however, that these special cupcakes are only available in the regular size. If you’re interested, make sure to reserve at least five days ahead.
Other than cupcakes, LOLA’S Cupcakes also sells wedding cakes, layer cakes, party cakes, brownies, and other original baked goods.
LOLA’S Cupcakes’ main store in Harajuku opened in October 2015 and business hours are from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. They have another branch in Roppongi Hills which opened in October 2016 that you can also check out.
Bellas Cupcakes is another shop in Tokyo that offers British cupcakes. Originally attracting foreigners, their cupcakes eventually became popular among Japanese locals as they aim to bring quality handcrafted cupcakes made with the best ingredients to their customers.
Bellas Cupcakes features seasonal cupcake boxes depending on the time of year. You can also purchase six cupcakes for 2,100 yen. Each box comes in different selection types or in an assorted selection. Their most popular item is the Floral Birthday Box (2,880 yen) which consists of six pink vanilla birthday cupcakes adorned with edible flowers and butterflies. You can also put a message on the cupcakes such as the celebrant’s name and age.
Bellas Cupcakes is located in Takanawa, Minato, Tokyo and is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Take note that the store is closed on Mondays and special holidays such as the year-end and New Year holidays.
