This article was inspired by one of my friends who wanted to visit Tokyo and was confused as to which of these 3 places to choose. Yes! There are a few options when it comes to places that you can reach and go back at the same day from Tokyo. In another word, it takes only one day for the full trip.

    1. Mount Fuji

    Who doesn’t know mount Fuji, and who doesn’t want to see what that mountain looks like when it’s right in front of us? You can go to mount Fuji and back in one day from Tokyo. There are many tour travels that offer one-day trip package to mount Fuji. Normally, the packages include lunch and other activities such as onsen and visiting some sites.     2. Tokyo Disneyland

    Going to Tokyo can be completed by visiting Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo Disneyland is a themed amusement park based on movies produced by Walt Disney. It takes a whole day to really enjoy this place. There are many attractions that are offered by Disneyland, including World Bazaar, Adventure Land, Western Land, Fantasy Land and other attractions.
    To reach this place, you can go to JR Maihama station. The park is about 5-minute walk from this station.

    3. Hitachi Seaside Park

    Hitachi Seaside Park is Located along the coast of Hitachinaka, Ibaraki. This park has around seven different areas with a total of 190 ha². Each area has different kinds of flowers. Petal-blue flowers, daffodils and tulips are most common flowers that cover the areas.
    To reach this place, you can take JR Joban line from Ueno Station to Katsuta station for 70 minutes. From Katsuta station go to Ajigaura station for 30 minutes by Hitachinaka seaside railway. From Ajigaura station walk for 20 minutes to the south entrance of the place.
