Tanukikoji is a shopping arcade that goes from 1-chome to 7-chome of both east and west ad is about 900 meters long. There are more than 200 shops lined up along the arcade. You do not need to worry about the weather if you visit this place. Near 2-chome and 3-chome merchant houses and some restaurants are available, try to get some food before starting to look for the souvenirs!
Near Odori Station (Subway Namboku Line, Tozai Line, Toho Line)
Rera is a large open mall located in Kashiwadai-minami, Chitose City, Hokkaido. Within area of 112,000 meters square, there are more than 400 brand outlets. There are many stores which allow visitors to bring their pets along. If you are walking around with your dog and need take a break to buy some souvenir in the mall, this is the best place. Many various restaurants such as Western cuisine, Chinese cuisine and also Japanese cuisine can be found here. Don’t forget to try it.
Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza is located in Kita-ku, Sapporo. This place mainly sells foods and has more than 2,000 items of Hokkaido cuisine. Everything from fresh to dry food is available here. You may find many types of seafood here including crabs, shrimps, tuna and octopuses. If you are going to cook at home, various Japanese ingredients like tofu and some pickles are available there as well.
Directly connected with Sapporo Station (JR Hokkaido Line)
The mall is located below Odori Park. It consists of two parts; Aurora Town is extending to the east and Pole Town is extending to the west. The location is close to the Sapporo TV Tower. There are various items such as student and office stuff, restaurants and cafes, but the focus is on fashion.
