  • What is the most pleasant area in Osaka? There are probably many. This city offers many things to see and eat in different areas: Umeda, Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, America Mura and many more. Yes, this city is interesting for everyone who visits, especially young people.

    Besides the places in the city’s center, bay area of Osaka also offers some interesting things. One of them is Universal Studios Japan that you may already have heard of. So what can you do in Osaka Bay Area?

    The place famous for its ‘The Wizarding World Harry Potter’ and one of the worldwide Universal Studio Theme Parks. By now, this park has approximately 8 million visitors every year. At the beginning, there were 9 areas of attractions in this theme park, but since The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in 2014, it became the tenth area. In this area you can find a roller coaster called Flight of the Hippogriff, and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, a motion based dark ride.

    • Universal Wonderland


    The Universal Wonderland is a section at the Universal Studios. This is an area of the themed zones including Snoopy Studios, Hello Kitty’s Fashion Avenue and Sesame Street Fun Zone. This place is very good for families with children. Many facilities including restaurants and shops make this place even more exciting to visit.

    • Magical Starlight Parade

    This is a parade of character illumination that features the characters from fairytale books such as Alice in Wonderland, Arabian Nights, and Cinderella. At the beginning three characters, Elmo, Snoopy and Kitty come out to start the action. This amusing show has 37 floats, live dancers and catchy music that makes it amazing.

    2. Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

    Another place you can visit in the bay area, is, of course, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. This aquarium is one of the biggest in the world. There are many species from 17 specific areas of the world in this aquarium, including Antarctica, Panama Bay, Great Barrier Reef, Ecuadorian jungles and more.

    3. Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel

    At the edge of Osaka bay is Tempozan giant Ferris wheel that used to be the world’s biggest Ferris wheel (Now has been surpassed by London Eye in UK). This Ferris wheel is 112.5-meter high and is able to accommodate 480 people. The night view is very romantic, and in the day the ferris wheel offers stunning view of Osaka and Mt. Rokko.
