From jewelry and paintings to the art of Monet, and even the historical buildings and structures of Barcelona, I love anything relating to art and fashion. Coming from an artistic background and having an educational background in fine arts, I have vowed to make this world colorful and artistic.
During my travels to Japan, I had the chance to encounter and meet some talented and amazing people. Working for a high fashion magazine, and learning about the world of jewelry and fashion, I fell in love with the beauty of Japan and what it had to offer.
When I heard about a jewelry, watch, shoe, and bag school I decided to write an article exclusively about this school. I had received some amazing yearbooks from this college with some outstanding student projects, and I learned a different style of art that has never been introduced to western countries. I’m making it my mission to expand art around the world.
Curious yet? Alright, I’ll tell you. This school was founded as a jewelry school located in the bustling city of Tokyo. What’s the name of this school, you ask? It’s the Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry.
Hiko Mizuno College was founded in 1966, it was the first college to be opened in Tokyo as a jewelry school. Read more information here: Hiko Mizuno College

The school focuses on the highest standard of education offered to students. Here are some images of work created by students at this school.
These shoes are so beautiful with a wooden base they not only look tradition but chic as well. The quality of material and even time spent making these shoes and learning the process is represented in the overall result.
The Hiko Mizuno College website is broken down into many parts, English language, Japanese, and other languages as well. It has a blog portal that allows students and website viewers to see work and learn more about school upcoming events and programs.
As you see the page is Japanese based, a proper knowledge of the Japanese language can help viewers navigate pages.
Hiko Mizuno is not only one school but also has numerous branch schools as well. Many other colleges have been established since the 1966 creation by Hiko Mizuno that are associated under the same banner. Below is a list of the colleges based around Tokyo and Osaka:

I’m actually very excited about this school. Although I don’t know much about it, what I have learnt of it is that the school will teach the art of Sushi making and amazing delectable foods. I personally love food and while in Japan I have learnt to make some amazing Japanese dishes. But not sushi, it’s not an easy task. It is definitely something I’d love to learn.
Have I made you excited to experience new skills in Japan? I hope so. I hope this article has made you want to gain and learn more about not just Japanese culture, but the art and beauty of jewelry making, bags, shoes and even might want to give you the lift you need to expand your horizons.
