As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, the Puyo Puyo Quest Café makes a return this year! The opening of the café also serves to promote the smartphone game by Sega Networks, which is titled ‘Puyopuyo!! Quest’. The game, which is also known as PuyoQue, is a puzzle RPG game that features characters and designs from the Puyo Puyo series.
The PuyoQue Café was first opened in Shibuya in 2014. In 2015, the café was opened in 6 locations which were Nagoya, Hiroshima, Osaka, Miyagi, Fukouka, and Ikebukuro. This year, the café makes a comeback and similar to the previous years, the café will be opened for a limited period of time. The café opened the 17th of March 2016 and it will remain open for business until the 15th of May 2016.
The café is opened at Sweets Paradise in Ikebukuro and it will feature food, beverages, and desserts which are designed based on the theme and characters of the Puyopuyo!! Quest game. With the orders of certain types of set meals, customers will receive special stickers and coasters.
The types of food available include sandwiches, beef stew with an omelette, and pasta.
As for desserts, you can choose from parfaits, pancakes, and cakes.
One of the drinks you can order in the café is a latte, which is available in 27 character designs! Other beverages you can order are cotton candy with soda, a unique Witch concoction, and cotton candy with Calpis.
In addition, there is also a Special Quest for those who order the special set. After connecting to the café’s WiFi connection, you can find a special Puyo Quest which you can participate in. There is also a special booth set up to provide nail decoration service!
