There are so many cutely themed cafes, restaurants, and shops in Japan where some may think they are only limited to entertaining children. However, that is not the case here as anyone and everyone of all ages is able to enjoy cuteness in all forms, shapes, and sizes without an ounce of embarrassment.
This brings me to, Nicolas House cafe in Harajuku which is full of rabbit themed delicious goodies and is well worth the visit. Aside from being surrounded by cuteness, you’ll also get to enjoy the sweets and French cuisine on offer as well!
Nicolas House is owned by Frenchman Nicolas Shaar and is a 2-story establishment that is internally divided into different sections. Located on the first floor is Nicolas’ Usagi Shu Cream Koujou (A Chou Cream shop) offering a variety of rabbit themed sweets, and where Nicolas Friends offer a variety of adorable and fun original and collaborative goods.
On the second floor is the Nicolas Shokudou Series (Dining Hall) which serves a variety of French dishes that have been altered to suit the taste of the Japanese, and of course, are in line with the cafe’s cute rabbit theme. Nicolas Charles Cafe is also located on the second floor and has four main features.
Visitors to the Nicolas Charles Cafe (located on the second floor) will abe able to enjoy and make the most of the following:
- A choice of over 10 kinds of rabbit themed parfaits with varying combinations.
- Adults getting the opportunity to relive childhood memories by being able to order the kids lunch (Okosama lunch) without being embarrassed!
- A special menu is on offer all year round with the changing seasons.
- And last but not least, you can even wear cute rabbit ears and rabbit hats that also cater to men too – how cute!
So what do you think? Harajuku is a fun and exciting place all in itself and is a must-visit for first-time travelers to Tokyo. So when you find yourself in the area, check out Nicolas House and fully embrace its rabbit-themed cuteness, while being able to sit back, relax, and enjoy its deliciousness too.
