Catch the Stage Adaptation of Popular Anime Bleach in Tokyo and Kyoto This Summer 2016!

  • With various kinds of adaptations such as movies and stage shows being made in Japan, your favorite manga and anime can come to life. I’m sure many of you have heard of the live versions of manga and no doubt some of you also want to experience the live adaptations for yourself!

    One of the nearest live adaptation productions for this month is coming up soon and this title is a favorite of many people all over the world. If you’re a fan of the Bleach franchise, then the Rock Musical Bleach might just be something that you can look forward to!

    About Bleach

    Bleach is a manga series written and illustrated by Kubo Tite. Aside from being a popular manga that has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump, it also ran an anime series from 2004 to 2012 produced by Studio Pierrot.

    Both the manga and the anime revolve around the life of Kurosaki Ichigo and his adventures with his friends where he takes on the duties of defending and protecting humans from spirits and guiding them to the afterlife.

    Rock Musical Bleach

    Rock Musical Bleach started out in 2005 and is a series of rock musicals produced by Studio Pierrot and Nelke Planning. The story of the musical revolves around the life of high school student Kurosaki Ichigo after he obtains the Soul Reaper’s power from Kuchiki Rukia.

    Rukia was sent back to the Soul Society and sentenced to death for transferring her Soul Reaper powers to a human. Ichigo, along with his friends, goes to the enemy grounds to save Rukia from execution and runs into the military force in the Soul Society called the Gotei 13.

    Dream 5 member Takano Akira will be playing the role of Kurosaki Ichigo and Kai Chihiro, who was part of the Owari no Seraph musical will be playing the role of Kuchiki Rukia. Regular tickets will be on sale starting on June 26th with the plays showing in July and August in Tokyo and Kyoto.
