    Shingeki no Kyojin Background

Shingeki no Kyojin, or as popularized by its American title Attack on Titan, is a manga written by Isayama Hajime. It revolves around a post-apocalyptic genre where humans were almost put into extinction and are only relying on living inside the caged wall from the titans.

The anime adaptation of the manga was directed by Araki Tetsuro, the same person behind the popular Death Note series, and was aired in 2013 following the storyline of the manga. As what any fan wants, people were curious whether there will be a following season for the thrilling series, and the wait is almost over.

    Shingeki no Kyojin’s Second Season

It has been 3 years since Shingeki no Kyojin has been aired, and as what the director Araki wanted in order to build a better story arc, he waited for writer Isayama to proceed further with the story of the manga.

Covering it during the Shingeko no Kyojin Festival which happened last July 3rd, the much-awaited announcement that all fans of the franchise wanted to hear were brought out on the table by the writer himself.

The second season of the Shingeki no Kyojin franchise is set to be aired during spring of the following year, 2017, still under Araki’s direction. Along with that, the staff remains the same as the first season and is headed by WIT STUDIO.

Surely, popular names such as Shingeki no Kyojin has a higher likelihood to have a second series thanks to its large fanbase and not to mention the sales they make along with it.

Now fans out there, you may think of spring as a long wait for the next season to air, but just think of it as two seasons to go before your favorite characters Eren, Levi, Mikasa and others are back on screen!
