Yuni Garden is the biggest English herb-style garden in Japan. It has a land area of 14.2 hectares consisting of 10 gardens with 230 different kinds of herbs. The gardens look colorful during spring as they are bathed in flowers. The flowers change quickly per season which starts with the blooming of cherry blossoms, as well as marguerites and rape blossoms.
You can also see the calming site of herbs all year round. Visitors can touch and smell these aromatic and relaxing herbs as they go through the garden. Other activities available in the area include having a hands-on lesson on herbs, herb picking, and buying herb goods and other local specialties.

Shichiku Garden is a famous tourist spot owing to its 2,500 types of flowers in the area. Around 100,000 tourists visit the place every year just to catch the beautiful sight of the flower fields.
This garden originally started as a barren vacant lot which eventually became a natural field of flowers with the passing years. The flowers here naturally grow without the use of pesticides and are also not watered. You have to pay a certain fee once you enter the place which also entitles you to pick as many flowers as you want.

Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park is the only Japanese government park located on the northern island of Hokkaido. It is separated into six zones which are great places to visit all throughout the season. It blooms beautifully during spring with its 230,000 tulips. The place is very colorful as the different valleys are blanketed with various bright flowers.
There are several activities in this park that families can enjoy, such as cycling, fishing, and playing golf. A popular place for children is the grassy plaza which has huge balls that visitors can freely roll around. It is a great way to exercise and return home with a happy heart.
Ueno Farm is an English-style garden which has been adapted to match the weather in Hokkaido. It is the perfect destination if you like being surrounded by sunlight, the wind, and colorful flowers. This garden was designed by Sayuki Ueno (上野砂由紀) who is popular among gardeners. What makes the garden beautiful is the changing of the color per season.
There is also a cafe in the garden where you can dine and have a comfortable time. The cafe serves soft-serve ice cream made with ingredients from a dairy farm in Asahikawa (旭川).
