Camp in Style at This New Glamping Facility near Narita International Airport

  • “Glamping” is a luxury camping style where comfortable and luxurious services are provided in a natural environment. Its popularity is spreading across the world, including Japan. Recently, a new camping facility called THE FARM CAMP 「Villa」 (ザファームキャンプ 「ヴィラ」) opened near Narita International Airport (成田国際空港), which is the perfect location as it gives access to a rich ambiance perfect for stargazing at night.

    What is glamping?

“Glamping” is a coined word that means a glamorous kind of camping. It is not your traditional style of camping as there’s no tent to pitch, no sleeping bag to roll, nor fire to make. It is simply a way to escape and take a break from the hustle and bustle, which you’ve probably been wanting for a long time. This kind of accommodation is unique as it gives you a connection with your surroundings without sacrificing an inch of comfort.

Expect amazing views when you go glamping. You’ll get in touch with secluded, natural landscapes yet feel relaxed sleeping in comfortable beds. Some glamping sites even offer on-site spas and luxurious bubble baths.

There are many reasons why people choose glamping over real camping. One of which is that it allows you to experience nature in an unforgettable way and it offers an endless amount of adventures. The world’s wilderness is just waiting for you! Glamping lets you step out of the tent into your own private natural retreat.

    THE FARM CAMP 「Villa」

Every now and then, new glamping sites open in Japan. In late March 2017, THE FARM CAMP 「Villa」 was opened inside THE FARM, which is a compound resort facility. The place is enticing its visitors to come and lie on a hammock while they enjoy the rich scenery of the surrounding greenery. Guests can also do some barbecue activities as the site offers farm-to-table meat and vegetables, as well as barbecue equipment. You can actually experience harvesting the vegetables yourself if you like, depending on the plan you choose.

Guests can stay overnight and enjoy the natural hot spring bath in the facility. You may also avail of the all-you-can-ride zipline. Prices range from 32,400 yen to 42,800 yen for two persons per stay. There is an additional charge of 14,900 yen to 19,900 yen per extra person. These prices are inclusive of tax.

It will soon be the perfect season to go glamping in Japan so you better enjoy your trip by staying in a glamping facility rather than a hotel. This is the perfect idea of enjoying outdoor activities while appreciating the nature around you. Come as a couple or bring your family, friends, or co-workers along to complete the experience. If you come from another country or prefecture, don’t worry as the place is easily accessible since it is near Narita International Airport.

Check out this new camp-style accommodation for a one-of-a-kind experience! With fresh air and absolute leisure, what more can you ask for?
