  • Fukuoka (福岡) is a historical city in Japan, serving as an important harbor city for many centuries. It is also the largest city in Kyushu (九州) and is considered part of the country’s top 10 most populated cities. People visit the place because of its beautiful attractions and sightseeing destinations. But aside from those, it is also family-friendly. If you ever visit the place, you can bring your small children along. There are family spots that you can add to your itinerary which children will truly enjoy. Here are three of them!

    1. Kashii Kaen Sylvania Garden (かしいかえんシルバニアガーデン)

Sylvanian Families are collectible items created by Japanese gaming company, Epoch. They are popular around the world, especially among little girls. If you visit Fukuoka, you may check out a garden full of life-sized Sylvanian characters. The park has a traditional charm which makes it interesting.

The entrance fee is 900 yen for adults and 600 yen for children, while the fee for rides ranges from 100 to 400 yen. A staff is in charge per ride so you will be assisted if you need anything. Do remember, however, that they speak in Japanese so you have to figure other things out.

What’s great about this park is that it is not crowded during most days so it is easy to enjoy the rides with young children. There are many animal statues around and it is also a nice place to take photos as the buildings are cute.
