    HOTEL New Town AKIHABARA is a type of hotel which offers two type of accommodation plans, night stay and time stay, the latter allowing guests to stay for a shorter period of time. The hotel is located along the elevated line in front of Akihabara Station. You can see the Sobu Line and Tokyo Skytree from the hotel’s 5th floor.

    The rooms are accessible through the stairs located outside of the hotel building. All rooms come with a single bed, a bathroom, and wireless Internet. They are also equipped with an air conditioner, refrigerator, 29-inch television, telephone, full-length mirror, electric pot, glasses, ashtray, and tissue box. The hotel also provides amenities at the front desk free of charge and these include a shower cap, cotton, hair brush, whisker, and hair rubber. If you’d like to rent an additional futon, you may do so for 1,000 yen per night.

    The hotel’s time stay plan requires guests to book a room for at least two hours. The plan costs 3,000 yen for 120 minutes and 4,500 yen for 180 minutes. An extension of 30 minutes costs 1,000 yen.

    KEIKYU EX INN Akihabara opened in March 2016 and serves as a great starting point for touring Akihabara. It is just a five-minute walk from Akihabara Station and a short walk from Akihabara’s Electric Town. It is surrounded by supermarkets and is a prime location for exciting tourist locations such as Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree.

    Available guest rooms include Semi-Double, EX Semi-Double, and Universal Twin. Single occupancy costs range from 13,000 yen to 15,000 yen, while double occupancy costs range from 15,000 yen to 17,000 yen.

    Each room features a refrigerator, air humidifier, 32-inch LCD TV, electric kettle, mugs and glass cups, hair dryer, wireless Internet access, and a MIWA card key access system. Amenities include a toothbrush set, shaving set, hand soap, hair comb, bath towel, pajama, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, etc.

    VIA INN AKIHABARA is a business-/sightseeing-friendly hotel which consists of 25 floors. It provides a great view of Tokyo Skytree at night and offers a ladies-only floor. The place is accessible from Haneda Airport via train or bus, and from Narita Airport via train.

    There are around 284 rooms including single rooms, ladies’ single rooms, economy twin rooms, standard twin rooms, ladies’ twin rooms, and a barrier-free twin room. Guest room facilities include refrigerator, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, humidifier, electric kettle, TV, and free Wi-Fi access. Amenities include a toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towel, razor, pajamas, and tea.

    Hotel services include coin laundry, ice machine, microwave, pants press, etc. The place also offers a free breakfast consisting of bread, salad, and warm soup.
