The yearly Pikachu event is back once again, now even bigger and better for everyone to enjoy! For 2017, the event will be taking place from August 9th to 15th at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, MARK IS Minato Mirai, Queen’s Square Yokohama, Nippon Maru Memorial Park, and other places around Yokohama City’s Minato Mirai area. More than 1,500 Pikachus will be spreading their cuteness during this fun-filled event!
This will be the fourth year for the Pikachu Outbreak event and it has been a big hit on social media ever since it started. Aside from the numerous Pikachus, other Pocket Monsters will also be making their appearance along with a new event highlight this time around!
The Pikachu Carnival event taking place at Nihon Odori will also be getting an upgrade! In the past events, 50 Pikachus brought joy to the people, but this 2017, the number of Pikachus joining the parade will double. Join Pikachu and dance to the rhythm of Latin music!
And of course, last but not the least, turn down the heat with the cool and exciting Super Soaking Splash Show! Have the time of your life as you get soaked by water cannons along with Pikachu under Japan’s scorching summer heat! Pikachu will also be making an unexpected entry in the air and sea.
