    About God Eater

God Eater is a science fiction action and adventure video game series developed by Shift. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, God Eater features the story of humanity’s stand against monsters who threaten their survival.

Published in 2010 by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, the franchise is celebrating its 7th anniversary this 2017. Various events have been held to celebrate this milestone, including a partnership with Kotobukiya for a collaboration cafe and exhibition in July 2017. The cafe menu included crepes and drinks inspired by the game, and special tin badges were given with any purchase. At the exhibit, a special bromide featuring characters from the game were sold.

God Eater was adapted into an animated series by animation studio Ufotable. The 13-episode series aired from July 12, 2015, to March 26, 2016. Fashion brand SuperGroupies also designed watches, sneakers, and hooded stoles inspired by the God Eater anime series.

This October 2017, a music event entitled “GOD EATER ORCHESTRA LIVE Fenrir Far East Branch Performance” will be held as part of the continuing celebration of God Eater‘s anniversary.
