The name of the cafe comes from the Latin word “lingua,” which means “tongue” or “language.” This is greatly connected to the cafe’s concept of bringing people closer together through communication and good food. Take a look at what it offers!

    About the Cafe

Owned by Ian Warney and Ulala Sasa, LiNGUA WORLD CAFE is an airy and spacious place that focuses on coffee, sandwiches, and craft beer. Their signature coffee provides a perfect balance between the aroma and flavor of the locally produced roasted beans they use. For those who don’t drink coffee, they also have a selection of beers on offer.

The cafe has a warm and inviting feel, with glass windows combined with concrete and wood. The staff is very welcoming and they speak both English and Japanese. Smoking is also not allowed inside, making it ideal for families with kids.

Additionally, the cafe holds a monthly exhibition. They constantly host events and introduce a wide range of local artists. If you’d like to stay updated, you can always check out their Facebook page here.
